How to
Fold Cloth Diapers

* If it is in a diaper cover connect the corners of the cloth and velcro or snap the diaper shut.

* If you are using a pull up cover, then fasten the corners of the cloth diaper with safety pins and pull the cover up over the diaper.

Folded Hour Glass
* Fold the cloth diaper sewn edge to sewn edge.
* Lay the folded diaper down or on a cover.

* Lay your baby on the diaper so that their bottom is covered and fold in the middle of the diaper creating an hour glass shape and pull the other half around the baby's front.

* If it is in a diaper cover connect the corners of the cloth and velcro or snap the diaper shut.

* If you are using a pull up cover, then fasten the corners of the cloth diaper with safety pins and pull the cover over the diaper.

* Lay the diaper out flat or on a cover.
* Fold 1/3 of the bottom of the cloth diaper up and then fold that portion in on both sides.

* Lay your baby on the diaper so that their bottom is covered and pull the other half around the baby's front.
* Bring the corners from the back around to the front and velcro or snap the diaper shut.

* This particular fold is great if you are using pull up covers. Simply fasten the back corners to the front layer of cloth of the front corners.

* Lay the diaper out flat or on a cover.
* Fold 1/3 of the top of the cloth diaper down and then fold the bottom portion in on both sides.

* Lay your baby on the diaper so that their bottom is covered and pull the other half around the baby's front.
* Bring the corners from the back around to the front and velcro or snap the diaper shut.

* This particular fold is great if you are using pull up covers. Simply fasten the front corners to the front layer of cloth of the back corners.

Note: If you are folding flatfolds start by folding the entire diaper in half. Then fold one side about two thirds in and fold the other side two third in overlapping the first fold. This will create extra absorbency in the middle of the diaper. They will give the size you would be working with when folding a prefold.
